Amy Slater

Amy Slater is an attorney and lecturer on the subject of negotiations and conflict resolution at the Goldman School of Public Policy and at the University of California Hastings School of Law. From 1997 to 2000 she was the first general counsel of Ask Jeeves, Inc. (now Ask.com). Before joining Ask Jeeves, Ms. Slater worked in private practice and in corporate legal departments in San Francisco, Redwood City and Oakland. Ms. Slater has a BA degree from the University of California San Diego (1976) and a JD from UC Hastings. (1981).
