Why I chose Berkeley's MPA program:
Excellency, progressive mindset, overall characteristics of of the MPA, central importance given to quantitative analysis, directed to professionals with great experience, versatility, outstanding faculty, the life quality in the Bay Area, the facilities provided by the campus.

Random fact about me:
Brazilian diplomat, writer and film maker. Lecturer in Brazil, Italy and China on foreign policy and Brazilian politics. Engaged with Brazilian civil society movements aiming at promoting a more equal society and a more egalitarian global order.

An MPA program or story highlight:
More than an outstanding academic program, the MPA is a bridge among experienced people from all over the world, with great stories to tell. At the MPA, I have the opportunity to learn at every coffee I drink with my colleague, at every happy hour, at every spontaneous conversation. Latin Americans, Africans, Europeans and Asian blend with Americans in this high standard and progressive cultural melting pot that only confirms the uniqueness of the MPA and how pride I am to be part of it.

How an MPA will benefit me:
Contact with brilliant people from all over the world. Offer me quantitative tolls there are essential for any policy maker in the current days. Open my mind, bring new ideias, make me re-think about priorities and my mission. Allow me to be part of one of the top universities in the world, with access to a wide variety of creative, interesting and intelligent people

After graduation:
Still unsure about my future goals, but definitely re-thinking about professional ambitions. My be inclined for a career shift, towards a more socially engaged activity.
