Duration: 59 minutes
Journalist Daniel Heimpel describes how his exploration of the foster care system in California led him to create a solutions-based style of reporting that he now teaches to UC Berkeley public policy, journalism and social welfare students, as well as those enrolled in UCB's Journalism for Social Change MOOC.
