Advisor Rucker Johnson
Raheem is a PhD student in Public Policy at the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley. His research interests include exploring economic outcomes of low-income children (and, particularly, low-income children of color) and the factors that contribute to or inhibit their success.
Prior to coming to UC Berkeley, Raheem conducted a wide variety of research on income and poverty trends, and economic supports for low-income families at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. He holds a MPA from the University of Texas and a BA in English from the University of Maryland.
