Advisor Jack Glaser
Perfecta is a Ph.D. candidate with the Goldman School of Public Policy with particular interests in the history of American policing and police-community contact.
Prior to enrolling at GSPP, Perfecta was the executive director of Esperanza Housing and Economic Development, a community development organization serving low-income Latino residents in North Philadelphia. Pita has experience in community organizing including the development of grassroots community-police engagement practices.
Perfecta holds an MSW and an MPA from the University of Pennsylvania, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, West Africa.
