Michelle Schwartz (MPP/MPH ’88, UC Berkeley) is a community and philanthropic leader. She currently invests in and consults with startups in the areas of consumer goods, luxury goods, and specialty artisanal food.
Michelle was recruited by Professor Richard Scheffler to be one of UC Berkeley’s first joint graduate degree holders in Public Health and Public Policy. She has a background in clinical nursing, administration and teaching/consulting in medical ethics.
